Central Michigan University’s Bell Tower Society includes some of the most exceptional friends of the university --friends who are central to helping CMU achieve new heights in excellence.

Bell Tower Society members help fund endowments, scholarships, facilities, technology and many other critical needs. They provide energy, enthusiasm, and generosity that propels CMU forward as a focused, doctoral-level institution, and they understand the value of CMU’s impressive array of applied research, creative endeavors and nationally recognized scholarships.

Membership in the Bell Tower Society
Membership in the Bell Tower Society is the most visible and distinguished donor recognition offered by Central Michigan University. Names of donors are permanently inscribed on the Bell Tower Society donor wall adjacent to the Rotunda in Bovee University Center. Bell Tower Society members are also invited to campus for various events and celebrations, including a special recognition event each spring. While they are on campus for the spring reception, alumni are treated to special events and presented with an appreciation gift.

Bell Tower Society Giving Levels
Bell Tower Society members are recognized for their cumulative contributions, including cash, pledges, matching and in-kind gifts. Pledged gifts such as bequests and living trusts are included in Bell Tower Society giving totals at the time when the gifts are received by Central Michigan University.
